Support Chris Martins’ Recovery Journey

Story

If you’re from East Providence, you know it is a tight-knit community. If you’re from East Providence, you know Townies help each other. If you’re from East Providence, you probably know Chris and Tabitha Martins (along with Ethan, Evan, and Aidan!)

Both Chris and Tabitha have spent countless years helping other East Providence families, whether it be in the classroom, on the baseball field, organizing fundraisers, or anywhere else help has been needed.

Recently, Chris Martins had a serious medical event, which has put him in the hospital, and he will need medical rehab care immediately following discharge. This has left him unable to work for an undetermined amount of time, and medical bills are just beginning.

We are starting this GoFundMe for the Martins family to help offset some of the unexpected financial stress and worry that has come their way.

Along with the GoFundMe, we will also be starting a dinner train. This is where you can donate a dinner meal or gift card to their family—more to come on the dinner train.

As a community, let’s support this family as they have always been quick to support others when it’s been needed.
